Grand Lodge has appointed W. Bro. Peter Talbot, PGSD as Provincial Grand Master Designate of this Province in succession to R.W. Bro. Thomas Gareth Williams.
The Installation of our new Provincial Grand Master will take place at our Provincial Meeting at Deeside College on Saturday 16th June 2012.
The Provincial Grand Master Designate has appointed W. Bro. Peter Gordon Watkin, PAGDC, Provincial Grand Treasurer, as Deputy Provincial Grand Master Designate.

The Provincial Grand Master for the Province of North Wales R.W. Bro. T. Gareth Williams recently attended St David's Mark Lodge No. 38, the oldest Mark Lodge in North Wales on the night of their Installation meeting, to present to the duly qualified 11 Mark & 1 R.A.M. Lodges listed below the new Grand Patrons Gold Award for their outstanding efforts in the recent Festival. He thanked the representatives of each lodge for their wonderful efforts during that Festival and thanked all those within the Province who had helped make the festival so successful.

The newest Mark Lodge in Shropshire, The Roses & Castles Boaters' Lodge No. 1922 elected to hold their Ladies Weekend in Llangollen at the Hand Hotel between the 23rd & 25th of September. The weekend organised by the Master W.Bro. Graham Holden was of the highest standard, where 74 members and guests were spoilt with culinary delights, washed down with a liberal amount of red and white wine. The highlight of the weekend was the emergency meeting held at the Masonic Hall, Ruabon on the Saturday morning. Visitors from the host Lodge together with the PGM of Staffordshire & Shropshire and the PGM of North Wales, witnessed an excellent ceremony when Bro. R.L. Clements was advanced into this degree. Both PGMs along with all those present welcomed Bro. Richard and wished him a long and enjoyable future as a Mark Master Mason.

NOTICE PLEASE WOULD ALL MARK MASTER MASONS NOTE THAT THE 2011 FESTIVAL BADGE IS NO LONGER TO BE WORN IN OPEN LODGE Charity Clay Pigeon Shoot A team of 7 Clay Pigeon shooters from the Rhyl & Prestatyn area travelled to Anglesey on Saturday 7th July to take part in a Charity Clay Pigeon shoot organised by the Royal Leek Lodge No. 1849 and hosted at the Angelsey Shooting School Bodedern. The team comprised of the following:- W. Bros. Bill Staines, Philip Orton, David Lee & Bros. Phil Capper, Monty Jones and Bob Murray of Hunter Mark Lodge No. 324 with guest Bro. Pat Tomlinson of Caradoc Craft Lodge No. 1674. In beautiful sunny weather the team shot 50 clay targets over 5 stands, finishing the day with an enjoyable meal. The team met with outstanding success on the day with Bill Staines finishing High Gun & Champion and receiving a fine engraved trophy. In 2nd place was Bob Murray, 3rd Phil Orton, Joint 4th Monty Jones & Dave Lee, 5th Pat Tomlinson and in 6th place Phil Capper. Masonic Charities benefitted to the sum of £325 and with their overwhelming success the team are looking to attend next year if invited!! |
